Family Plan+ · $3.99 a month, or $39.99 a year, up to 10 people. It's the same plan, just bigger. If you bought a monthly plan on this website, it moves up by itself when a fifth person joins, prorated, with nothing for you to do. It moves back down if your family gets smaller. If you bought in the app through Google Play or the App Store, you'll make that change in the store. A yearly plan stays the same size until its year is up.

One more spot · $9.99 a year. Add room for one more person. Four people becomes five, and you still pay $2.99 a month. The spot belongs to your plan, so your family decides who fills it and can swap anytime. Add as many as you like. Each one renews once a year.

Radius Solo · $12.99 a year. Just you, with no plan to run. Join any family that gives you their code, and invite people of your own. They get the same free month as everyone else. When your free month ends, you pick: a family plan, or Solo for just yourself.

How is it so affordable?

We keep our costs low. Radius works out its own directions, and calls go straight between phones whenever the network allows. When it doesn't, they run through our own relay servers. That means no big cloud bill per person for us to pass on to you.

What happens after 30 days?

We ask the plan manager once. Nothing gets deleted while you decide, and your data is always yours. The delete button works whether you've paid or not.

How does that compare?

How the plan works

Your family plan starts the minute you sign in.

Whoever installs is the manager

Sign in and your plan is ready, free for 30 days. You're on it, with room for three more. There's nothing to set up and no card to enter.

Add your people during the free month

Invite them by email, or send them your code or an invite link. Everyone on your plan shares your 30 days, so nobody's free time runs out before yours does.

When the month is up, you pay

Your plan switches to paid at $2.99 a month, and nothing changes for anyone on it. Pay on this website and billing runs on Stripe. Pay inside the app and it goes through Google Play or the App Store. You can update your card, see receipts or cancel any time, wherever you paid. If you cancel, your plan keeps running until the end of the time you've already paid for.

You're the manager, so you decide who sees whom

Someone new on your plan sees you, the manager, and nobody else. Then you choose who else they see, one direction at a time. Say Sam is the manager. Sam lets Riley see Jo and Jo see Riley, and lets Alex see Riley. Riley still can't see Alex until Sam says so. Nobody sees the rest of the plan just for being on it. Everyone keeps their own account and data, and on the People tab each person still chooses who can see where they are and where they've been. Someone on your plan can run their own family too, for a partner, a child or a friend, at $2.99 for up to four. Their people see them, and they don't see you.

Coming from Life360 or another app? Bring everyone!

Bring your whole crew and keep them all. Up to six people fit on the $2.99 plan, seven to ten is $3.99 a month, and past that it's $9.99 a year for each extra spot on the plan. You add each person by email, and they take a spot as soon as they sign in on their own phone. During your first 30 days, each phone needs to share its location on at least 9 out of 10 days. One more spot: $9.99 a year

An extra spot belongs to your plan, not to one person. Buy one and your plan holds five people instead of four, and your monthly price stays the same. Buy a second and it holds six. Your family can move someone new into a spot any time, because the spot is the plan's to use.

It renews once a year. Stop it whenever you like, and the spot lasts until the end of the year you've paid for. There's no refund or proration, and the rest of your plan stays just as it is. Would you rather have room for ten? Family Plan+ at $3.99 a month is the other way to go, and the app shows you both options as soon as you run out of room.

Radius Solo: $12.99 a year

Made for one person on their own, like a grandparent or a grown-up kid across the country, with nobody to manage. Pay for yourself, join any family that gives you their code, and invite people of your own. They get the same free month as everyone. You get everything the app does, with no plan to run. When your free month ends, you choose: a family plan of your own at $2.99, or just you at $12.99 a year.

The fine print, made simple

The free month counts per phone as well as per account. Signing up with a new email on the same phone won't start it again.
You can be on one other manager's plan and run your own plan at the same time. The only way to be on two other people's plans is for a child whose parents live apart. That child can be on both parents' plans when both parents have given consent, and neither parent sees the other.
Prices are in US dollars. Any taxes that apply are added at checkout.
Made for the United States. The phone apps use Google Maps or Apple Maps, the web app's map covers the US, Canada and Mexico, and address search and turn-by-turn directions cover the US. Radius is in testing on Google Play for Android and TestFlight for iPhone. See where it works.
You create your account in the app, not on this website. Setting up on a phone lets Radius ask for a date of birth and get a parent's consent for anyone under 18 before anything is shared. That's why there's no sign-up form on the web. The web app is for people who already have an account.
To add a child under 13, federal law asks us to check that you're their parent. Only the managing parent can add them. The check takes about a minute in the app with your ID and a selfie, and a trusted partner handles it without ever sending the images to us. It's free, and you don't need a card. Rather not photograph your ID? You can sign a paper form instead. Here's how it works.
Radius is in testing on Google Play and TestFlight, and it's coming to Google Play and the App Store soon. Buying on this website runs on Stripe. Buying inside the app goes through Google Play or the App Store, and you change or cancel that subscription in the same store.
