How it works
Download Radius and sign in. You're the plan manager, and your first 30 days are completely free. After that it's $2.99 a month for your family.
Go to Settings, then Family plan, and tap Already on Life360 or another app? Pick the app you're leaving and add each person's email. Anyone already on Radius joins right away. Everyone else gets an email invite, or you can send them your code.
As soon as each person signs in on their own phone, they're on your plan. Keep Radius running on their phones during your first 30 days, and everyone who's using it keeps their spot on your plan.
The fine print, made simple
There's no way for us to check how many people you shared with on another app. So instead of asking for a number, we ask you to name the real people you're bringing. Each person signs in with their own email, Google or Apple account, on their own phone.
During your first 30 days, each phone just needs to share its location on at least 9 out of 10 days. Someone who joins on day 20 is only counted from day 20. It's the same simple rule for every family.
Bring six people and you pay $2.99 a month. Bring eight and it's $3.99 a month for everyone. The price only goes up when that seventh person actually joins.
If someone's phone didn't share enough during the first 30 days, your plan card tells you exactly who and why, like "reported 12 of 30 days, needed 27," and your plan adjusts to fit. Anyone you named who never signed in simply isn't counted. After the first month, you can add people the regular way any time. Need more than ten? Add extra spots for $9.99 a year each.
What you'll save
Life360's paid plans are $9.99, $16.99 or $24.99 a month (Silver, Gold and Platinum, App Store prices as of September 2026). Over five years, that's about $600 to $1,500.
Radius is $2.99 a month with every feature included. Over those same five years, that's about $179, or just $150 if you pay yearly.

Good to know: Radius is in testing right now on Google Play and TestFlight, and it's coming to both app stores soon. Both the Android and iPhone apps share your location. You can also use Radius in any web browser for the map, messages, SOS and more, but each person needs the phone app to share where they are.
