Acceptable use
Radius is for families who can all see each other. These rules are part of the Terms of Service, and breaking them is how an account gets closed.
This summary is here to help. It isn't part of the Acceptable Use Policy. The full text below is what counts.
Radius must not be used to follow a person without their knowledge — a partner, an ex, an employee, anyone. The app is built to make that hard: a permanent notification shows while sharing is on, nobody joins a plan without signing in themselves, and a child's sharing is visible on the child's own phone. Trying to defeat those protections is the fastest way to lose an account, and in most US states covert tracking of an adult is also a crime. If you believe Radius is being used on you, write to help@radiusfamily.com and it will be treated as the emergency it is.
No harassment, no threats, no sexual content involving minors (which is reported to NCMEC as the law requires, with no exceptions), no sending malware or links designed to steal accounts. Conversations on Radius are private one-to-one spaces for people who chose each other — the bar is "would you say it to family", because that is who is listening.
No probing, scraping, credential-stuffing, relaying traffic through the call servers, reselling access, or automating the API against its purpose. Security research is welcome when it is honest: found something? Say so at help@radiusfamily.com and you will get a person, not a lawyer.
Report from the app — Settings → Report a problem — or by email. A report is read by a person. Depending on what it shows, the outcome is a warning, a closed account, or — where a law was broken — a referral with everything preserved. We say why an account was closed unless we are legally prevented from saying.
